Fenerbahçe announced that they mutually agreed to end partnership with head coach Slobodan Kovač, signaling a new direction for the club.

Soon after the announcement, Fenerbahçe confirmed Taner Atik as the team’s new head coach. Atik signed his contract at the club’s headquarters with senior officials in attendance.
General Secretary Orhan Demirel said the club believes the change will bring renewed energy and momentum, adding that expectations are high for improved performances both domestically and in European competition. Volleyball Branch Director Soner Erdoğmuş highlighted Atik’s experience and technical expertise, saying the new coach understands the league and the demands of top-level volleyball. Atik said he was proud to join Fenerbahçe and promised to give everything to help return the club to the level it strives to maintain.
