Whoever was watching the match between Russia and Turkey knows that something was not right at the end of the game...In the fifth set when Russia had a lead of 12-10, the referee gave a point to Russia, although Challenge showed the opposite.

This picture says a thousand words…Now it doesn’t mean anything because the match is over but …

Has Russia deserved to win or  Turkey is corrupted?

Sonsirma against Russia GP2014

Sonsirma

Do you remember? Sonsirma’s spike was challenged and caused a long delay as the officials decided the outcome. Sonsirma earned a yellow card but was penalised for an attack-line fault, giving Russia a 13-10 lead.

Turkey WON this match,

The problem is the referee gave 2 points for Russia also in the 1 set. And I think it was Sorsima also on the back line, she did not stepped on the line, and the challenge system showed she did not. But the referee has the right to accept it or not, and he did not, so gave it to Russia.

The again said Turkey touched the net, and they did not touch the net, Barbollini asked for the challenge and the referee denied, and gave the point to Russia. Russia won the 1 set 25-23, if not for 2 points Turkey would have won.

Turkey would have won 3-1 or even 3-0 because they lost 2 set for 26-24 and the referee was still going after them.

Why they put anonymous referees to important matches? They should change this and this referees shoud get experience in confederarional or national competitions

I am a Russian and i think Turkey should have been the one who won this match. this challenge system must be reconsidered it’s really a shame to have won at this point.
