Massimo Barbolini
He was born on August 29, 1964 in Modena. Began his coaching career as assistant coach in a team Panini Modena. After that, he coached the team Carimonte Modena. In 1993, he coached Latte Rugiada Matera and won the two Italian League titles, two Italian Cups, one European Super Cup and a Champions League championships. With Perugia he won 3 Italian League titles (2003, 2005, 2007), four Italian Cups(1999, 2003, 2005, 2007), a Champions League title (2006), and two CEV Cups.
On August 2006, he became the coach of Italy’s National Team. The country was brought to the European Championship in 2007 and 2009.
