Setter

It is expected that the setter is in perfect condition at the touch of the ball.

In the field, it does not happen so often, but …

The situations of imbalance are a constant threat. We thought about introducing this particular teaching progression for the improvement of the basic set to help athletes deal with the technique and method.

We divided the teaching in three exercises:

1 – Simulation of Set in support of bipedal skimmy

without having to run the set, the athlete works to always be in the best situation of perfect balance even in unstable conditions

2 – Simulation of Set in monopodalic support with Dynamic Ball

the simulation of the act of pushing with unstable legs and the Dynamic Ball in hand that generates another moment of instability forces the athlete to work up with all the Core area which will stabilize the movement between upper and lower limbs

3 – Simulation of phase boost monopodalic of T2 with Dynamic Ball

very often the player sets once he reaches his ideal location on the net, and has the right foot closer to the net. The position monopadalic with Dynamic Ball performs adaptation to any situation to improve the level of technical movements even in extreme conditions.
