Meanwhile, Czechia pulled off the day’s biggest surprise, beating Türkiye 3-1 (25-22, 25-21, 4-25, 25-20). Türkiye’s 25-4 win in the third set set a VNL record (the largest point gap in VNL history), but Czechia, led by Brancuska’s 21 points, responded with resilience and sharp defense to seal the upset.
