Michor, who previously led youth teams at Wieżyca Stężyca for five years, takes over the reigning Polish champions amid challenging times. Despite securing the championship, the club faces financial instability following the withdrawal of major sponsor Grupa Azoty. The newly appointed president has emphasized the need to stabilize the club’s finances before focusing on sports performance. Michor’s tenure at Wieżyca Stężyca was marked by significant success, including multiple medals in national junior championships. This will be his first role in the Tauron Liga.
