Philippe Blain has officially arrived in South Korea to take on his new role as head coach of the Hyundai Capital Skywalkers, the Korean volleyball powerhouse. Blain’s arrival was announced by the club, which welcomed him warmly at Incheon International Airport on August 17.
The French coach already relocated to the team’s base camp at Castle of Skywalkers and began preparations for the 2024-25 season. Blain previously served as the head coach for Japan’s national volleyball team starting in 2021, but confirmed his departure following the Paris Olympics.
