The Cuban-born Wilfredo León who will have the right to compete for Poland national team next year was presented by the president Gino Sirci as the new player of defending SuperLega champions Sir Safety Conad Perugia.

The presentation was held in a shopping center Quasar Village and was attended by a few hundred fans among which were children, young, and old people – the presentation worthy of a player of León’s reputation.

“Thanks to everyone! I’m very happy to be here and to be part of a very strong team. I arrive to give 100% of myself and I thank the president and all the sponsors who made all this possible. When I decided to leave Kazan, I also had contacts with Polish and Turkish teams, but I wanted to play in the Italian league and I enthusiastically chose Perugia where many international players compete. I am happy to have the chance to play with them and I think I will technically improve here,” visibly impressed Cuban player stated.

After the official part of the ceremony was over, León was left in the hands of the fans who stood in line to ask for an autograph from the superstar and take a selfie with him.
