Based on information from our source (this transfer was also covered by some media in Poland and Italy), it seems that Marko Sedlacek, a Croatian national team player, will join Polish powerhouse Jastrzębski Węgiel in the upcoming season.
Although there is no official confirmation of this transfer yet, we eagerly await it. Sedlacek had a successful season playing for Top Volley Cisterna in Italy, and is currently competing in the championship playoff phase for Al Arabi SC in Qatar, with his team having reached the semifinals. Previously, Sedlacek played for Galatasaray Istanbul, Vero Volley Monza, Piacenza, Rennes and HAOK Mladost Zagreb.
Jastrzębski Węgiel, Sedlacek’s future club, has already achieved a historic feat this season by advancing to the SuperFinal of the CEV Champions League. Additionally, they are currently leading the quarterfinal series 2-0 against Trefl Gdańsk in the Polish PlusLiga Playoffs.
