One more Italian women’s volleyball top division club has completed composing the roster for the next season – Savino Del Bene Scandicci.

Scandicci announced that the US National Team member Megan Courtney will be their new player.

The 26-year-old outside hitter (mostly play as a libero in the national team) arrived at Scandicci after spending a year at their Serie A rivals and also the reigning European club champions, Igor Gorgonzola Novara. Courtney has won the trophy in the FIVB Volleyball Nations League in 2019 and was awarded Best Libero in the tournament.

By hiring American international, Scandicci filled the 2020/21 roster becoming the second Serie A team to do so, in addition to Imoco Volley Conegliano.
