The ex-US women’s volleyball National Team setter Carli Lloyd definitely won’t be playing the next season due to pregnancy.

It was something that was expected - an American player Lloyd confirmed she’ll miss out the entire next season, which she announced on social media. Her club,

Italy’s VBC Èpiù Casalmaggiore, published that a one-time CEV Champions League and FIVB Club World Championship Best Setter will consult with doctors, a few days ago. Now, it’s clear that they will have to return to the transfer market.

CHN M: Chinese federation gives in to pressure, male foreigners will play Super League

Great news on the Men's Super League. The Women's you referred to in the news is actually not the same with the Super League though. It is a separate tournament roughly called National Championships where the provincial teams compete for the top honour. Women's Super League won't start until much later. If foreign players are allowed in Men's tournament, then it only.makes sense the same would apply to the women's. Let's keep our fingers and toes crossed! Reply
