Prosecco Doc Imoco Conegliano volleyball team clinched a hard-fought victory against Savino Del Bene Scandicci in the second game of the Serie A1 PlayOff Finals. Following a dramatic five-set match that mirrored the intensity of their initial encounter, Conegliano evened the series with a 1-1 tie.
Despite trailing 2-1, Conegliano turned the game around in a tense tie-break, winning the match and regaining home advantage. The teams are set to face off again in Game 3 at Palaverde on April 24th, ensuring at least a fourth game in the series.
The MVP of the match was Monica De Gennaro, whose defensive prowess was crucial in turning the tide for Conegliano. Haak led the charge of Conegliano and finished with a notable 27 points, while Antropova impressed with 34 points for Scandicci.
