The second part of the 2019/20 Dodram V-League regular season set off a few days ago. Today, the vice-champions Jumbos fought hard to push an away match against KEPCO to the tie-break in which they emerged victoriously: 3-2 (25-20, 25-27, 25-27, 25-20, 15-10).
Their import Andrés Villena shone by chipping in with 37 points, including 5 aces! This put Spaniard on the top of the top-scorers list in the competition with 237 points. It was the second 37-point output in the Korean league this season. The first one was a masterpiece of Villena’s rival today, Canadian Gavin Schmitt, who did it in the opening round. However, the Belgian Bram van den Dries overshadowed them both by scoring 38 points on October 24. As for Schmitt, he put down 25 points for Vixtorm today.
