American player Stephanie Niemer was confirmed by the Puerto Rican Volleyball Federation as the second foreign reinforcement of Lancheras de Cataño.

Outside hitter/receiver was already wearing the jersey of two other Puerto Rican teams before departing to Europe.

Niemer is currently playing in Azerbaijani team of Azeryol Baku with which she will participate in playoffs.  She is expected to arrive to Puerto Rico in early April, just like Natalia Valentín, and help her new team in the playoffs (sixth in the standings).

At the same time, Lancheras released the Swedish middle blocker Cecilia Hall.
