They reached an agreement with ONICO Warsaw regarding the loan of Mateusz Janikowski. The young volleyball player completes the roster of the team from Gdańsk.
Mateusz Janikowski had been invited to the Polish junior national team that in July competed at the World Championships. The white-and-reds took the eleventh place in the whole competition, and the young volleyball player appeared in seven out of eight meetings and scored a total of 77 points.
“I am very happy that I can join the team of Gdansk which will be led by coach Michał Winiarski, for me an idol from the time when I started my adventure with volleyball. My goal is to further develop my skills and improve my level from practice to practice. I hope this season will be successful for both me and the club. I can’t wait for the first pieces of training” – admitted Mateusz Janikowski after finalizing the move to Gdańsk.
