by WoV

Brazilian Volleyball Championship has made quite a change for the 2017/18 season.

There will be no more player-ranking system in the Brazilian women’s volleyball championship!

Actually, to be fully precise, only one single part from that rule will still be used. The player-ranking system will only be applied to the players with 7 points (highest number in the ranking) and each club will be able to have 2 of those players in their roster.

As far as all the other players are concerned, they will not be part of the player-ranking system, so clubs will be able to sign as many of them as they want.

Also, clubs will still be able to have up to 2 foreign players in the team.
