Bulgarian team were dominating the whole match. The Heynen’s side couldn’t face two rivals in this match: Konstantinov’s team who were in mood and loud audience! German team simple didn’t find any solution for the rival.
Since the begging of the match, Bulgaria were much better side. In the first set they quickly smashed Germany! In another two sets, Heynen’s side tried everything but Konstantinov’s team rejected all attempts of the rival and clinched the win!
Despite having the lead in the thirs set 22:21, Germany didn’t manage to keep the lead! Bulgaria ended game in style – blocked the rival and moved to the semis!
The key of succes was stopping the trio of Germany – Grozer (3 points), Kaliberda (3 points) and Schops (6 points). Marcus Bohme was the only player with double digits in Heynen’s team – 11 points!
On home side, Vladimir Nikolov scored 14, while Yosifov and Aleksiev added 11 each.
Bulgaria will face France in the semifinals! Recall that France beat Serbia in quarterfinals.
