The final weekend will be much more than a Volleyball tournament as fans from 31 countries have bought tickets for the semifinal and final matches hoping to enjoy a real party there in Denmark’s capital city. “These days will be a party for everyone” says Mads Bang Aaen, Managing Director of the Danish Organizing Committee.

“We hope many more fans will join us for the final weekend as it is easy to make it to Copenhagen and be part of this great celebration for Volleyball in Europe” he adds. “We have produced an animated movie showing people how they can make it to our city and to Parken stadium”.
That movie has been produced also in the national languages of the teams that are set to participate in the EuroVolley: Danish, Serbian, Slovak, Czech, German, Polish, French, Dutch, Italian, Finnish, Slovenian, and Russian. A couple of more versions are set to follow in the next days.
“We want our fans to understand that they can easily get to all venues of this Championship: Odense, Herning, Aarhus, Gdansk, Gdynia, and Copenhagen” Mads Bang Aaen says. “They shall get to know that Copenhagen has very much to offer for their accommodation, from five-star hotels to campsites so that everyone can be part of that historic weekend at Parken stadium”.
