Rabita and Azerrail won their friday afternoon engagements, but in a different manner.

Rabita smashed Igtisadchi by straight sets (25-21, 25-15, 25-20) and gave them no chance at all, whilst Azerrail and Lokomotiv Baku played a very exciting match.
Lokomotiv managed to equalize twice after trailling 1-0 and 2-1, but they finally gave up in the tie break (25-22, 22-25, 25-13, 21-25, 15-13).
