Ex-member of VakifBank confirmed this transfer in a statement for Sportski žurnal, Serbian sports newspapers.
“I took some time to think about this offer and I am sure that I made the right decision. I liked the whole story, club is well organized and has ambitions to do something big in the Champions League. People from Azeryol didn’t hesitate, they had the right offer and promised to fulfill my conditions. So, after Italy, Japan, France and Turkey, now it is time for Azerbaijan” said Nikolić.
