After four years and 16 trophies won with the club, the 38-year-old opposite hitter Evandro Guerra left Cruzeiro. In his farewell message on social media, the 2016 Rio Olympics gold medalist with the Brazil National Team didn’t specify in which club he’ll continue his career. Cruzeiro have already hired Alan Souza from Sesi-SP in his place.

In addition to Evandro, the Contagem team parted ways with another opposite hitter from the last season’s roster. Luan Weber has signed with Tourcoing, France.
According to Web Vôlei, Cruzeiro are about to make a decision to reduce the budget for the next season up to 80%. That will follow the 50% cut in salaries for the last two months.
