Playing at home and highlighted by Alan Souza (23 points) and Lucas Deus ‘Lukinha’ (75 % reception; 50 % excellent), the side from Minas Gerais won with 3-1 (22-25, 25-20, 28-26, 25-22). Felipe Roque tallied 18 points for Taubaté, while Maurício Borges had 74 % reception (44 % excellent).
With such a result, Cruzeiro collected 31 points and took the lead of the charts, having the same win-loss ratio (10-1) as the vice-leaders Taubaté, who are at 30 points.
