Claudinha played for Usiminas Minas last season, and her games earned her a call to the Brazilian national team. Her contact with Jose Roberto Guimaraes made her decision to come to Campinas easy. Claudinha commented.

“In the National Team we are already training after practice, I and the other setters. I particularly like this extra work because I feel more confident. I am sure that Volei Amil will be great for my growth. Thanks in advance to Zé Roberto and Volei Amil for believing in my work” Claudinha commented.
“My expectations are the best. I am very motivated and happy to be a part of this project” she completed.
