Murilo Endres made the next step towards returning to court. A month and a day after undergoing surgery on his right shoulder, the volleyball player celebrated the fact that he got rid of the sling that held her arm in place. Jaqueline Carvalho commented.

Murilo suffered an injury called “slap” that causes chronic pain and is common with volleyball players. The operation was recommended almost two years ago, but Murilo opted to live with the discomfort. On drugs, he was able to command the Brazilian team in winning the silver in the 2012 Olympics – and was voted best player of the competition. Murilo has postponed surgery to defend SESI-SP in Superliga 2012/13. But the situation worsened with injuries to tendons and bone edema. It was time to stop.

Murilo should be away from the court for another five months, than he will be fully recovered from the right shoulder injury. He has the support of his wife Jaqueline Carvalho, who is always taking care of her husband and has not chosen her future club for the next season. She also celebrated the advancement in Murilo’s recovery:

Goodbye, sling! Yay! Congratulations, Murilo! Impressive recovery” the player posted on her social network profile.
