World No. 2 Brazil stormed to a 25-11, 25-11, 26-24 over Bulgaria.Sara scorers 15 points for Brazil while Silvana Chausheva scored 11 for Bulgaria.

The young Bulgarians could not take advantage of their set ball in the third set when Brazil coach Luizomar De Moura gave several new players the chance to shine. 

Brazil needed only 42 minutes to take a comfortable 2-0 set lead (25-11, 25-11).

The South Americans controlled the duel effortlessly, giving their contenders not the ghost of a chance.

 In the middle of the third set, Brazil coach Luizomar De Moura sent in several new players.

Bulgaria tried their best to take advantage of the new Brazilian line-up, but could not pull through. Brazil cleared a Bulgarian set ball at 23-24 and never looked back.

Brazil’s Sara topped the scorers with 15 points while Silvana Chausheva scored 11 times for Bulgaria. Bulgaria committed 26 mistakes, Brazil only 11.

Brazil finished on top of Pool C with a 4-0 record while Bulgaria drop to 1-3, finishing third or fourth (depending on the result Russia v USA).
