One of the best female volleyball liberos in the world, Camila Brait, will not change the club colors even after 13 years.
An experienced libero Camila Brait will play her 14th season with Osasco São Cristóvão Saúde, the club from São Paulo announced. Such a player-club bond is something you will not see often in volleyball. A 32-year-old libero, one of the best in her position in the world, came to Osasco in 2008 and up until now, she won as many as 18 titles: 2 in the Brazilian Superliga (2010 and 2012), 9 in the Paulista Championship (2007, 2008, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2020), 4 in the South American Club Championship (2009, 2010, 2011, and 2012), 2 in the Brazilian Cup (2014 and 2018), and one in the FIVB Club World Championship (2012).
Brait is one of the highlights of the Brazil National Team in the ongoing FIVB Volleyball Nations League. Elected Best Libero in the last Superliga, she is another pillar confirmed to stay at Osasco for the 2021/22 season. Previously, Tandara Caixeta and veteran Fabíola Souza renewed as well.
