After having Azerbaijani star Polina Rahimova with them for two years, but then parting ways with her this summer, Sesi decided to continue with the practice of having at least one player from this country in the roster.

A 31-year-old outside hitter Odina Aliyeva (former Bayramova) joined the club from the São Paulo state and will be playing her sixth consecutive season abroad. Just like Rahimova, Aliyeva is considered a pillar of the Azerbaijan National Team.

She spent the last season in the U.S. pro league Athletes Unlimited, finishing 40th on the leaderboard with a total of 1,154 points of which she earned 434 on the basis of the statistics.
