The Brazilian Volleyball Confederation (CBV) announced 24 teams for the 2021/2022 Men’s and Women’s Superliga.
The final approval followed the analysis of the entire documentation by a commission composed of three lawyers: one was appointed by the National Athletes Commission, the other was appointed by the Brazilian Club Committee (CBC), and the third one by CBV.
Approved teams for the women’s Superliga – Brasília Vôlei (DF), Curitiba Vôlei (PR), Dentil/Praia Clube ( MG), Pinheiros (SP), Fluminense (RJ), Itambé/Minas (MG), Osasco São Cristóvão Saúde (SP), Country Club Valinhos (SP), Unilife-Maringá (PR), Barueri Volleyball Club (SP), Sesc RJ Flamengo (RJ) and Sesi Vôlei Bauru (SP).
The men’s edition will include – Azulim Gabarito Uberlândia (MG), Funvic (SP), Apan Eleva Educacoin (SC), Brasília Volleyball (DF), Fiat Gerdau Minas (MG), Montes Claros América Volleyball (MG), Goiás Volleyball (GO) ), Sada Cruzeiro (MG), Sesi-SP, Vedacit Vôlei Guarulhos (SP), Vôlei Renata (SP) and Farma Conde Vôlei (SP).
The men’s Superliga will start on October 23, while the women’s, on October 29, 2021.
