In an electrifying showdown, the Dentil/Praia Clube secured its first-ever Copa Brasil women’s volleyball title, edging out Gerdau Minas in a nail-biting 3-2 victory in São José, Santa Catarina. The victory marks a historic moment for the Dentil/Praia Clube, which had previously fallen short in six finals, finally clinching the win with set scores of 25-23, 29-27, 22-25, 16-25, and 16-14. Kisy Nascimento shone as the match’s top scorer (38 pts), contributing significantly to the team’s success.
This win not only grants Praia a coveted spot in the 2025 South American Club Championship but also ends a streak of near-misses in the competition’s history, having reached the final in 2016, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2023.
