Brazil coach Wagner Luis Coppini Fernandez: We respect the Turkish team; they have a great coach and team. It was a great battle because we played the real Brazil today unlike the first match. I’m proud of my players and their true team spirit.
Brazil best setter Juma Fernandes da Silva : This was a very challenging tournament; I can’t believe we won the gold medal and are champions. I am absolutely thrilled to have won the best setter and MVP for this tournament.
Turkey coach Ferhat Akbaş: I want to congratulate all my players for their performance during whole championship. We finished second and earned an important success. We could have won the championship but there is also chance factor in our sport. But my team fought till the end. Congratulations to them again.
Turkey captain Ezgi Dagdelenler: It was a great tournament for us, we played great matches. Our nerves kicked in today in front of our own spectators.
