The voting results were following: 6 clubs voted for the player-ranking system, while 5 clubs voted against it. This time the Brazilian Volleyball Federation did not want to interfere, so its representative only attended the meeting, but did not have the right to vote.
The final outcome of the voting is that the player-ranking system will be applied on the Brazilian men’s championship for at least one more year. Currently, there are 7 players with the highest number of points. Those are: Bruno Rezende & Lucas Saatkamp (Sesi), Isac & Yoandy Leal (Sada Cruzeiro), Wallace de Souza & Ricardo Lucarelli (Volei Taubate), Leandro Vissotto (Monza).
The Brazilian Volleyball Federation will announce the players’ ranking for the 2017/18 season during the next week.
