FIVB
The FIVB was named the 2017 International Sports Federation of the Year, which is the award that was given by the International Sports Awards (ISA), the Swiss-based company who is part of Sports Development Marketing (SDM) – the leading global events and networking company whose vision is to create networking opportunities for every individual and organisation in the global Sports Industry.
The FIVB was mostly recognized for its VolleyballYourWay development campaigns, implemented during the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. VolleyballYourWay consists of promoting all forms of volleyball regardless of how or where it is played. Its primary goal is to bring people together, to enjoy volleyball and have fun.
Also, the 2017 FIVB World League Finals and 2017 FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championships had a huge role in getting the award from the ISA.
