One was simply overjoyed, the other clearly disappointed. This is what Laurent Tillie and Stephane Antiga said after the semi-final game between France and Poland.

Laurent Tillie, head coach of France: “I do not think about the final. I want to congratulate my players because with a mental strength we won this game. We have a fighting spirit. We played well, especially the two first sets, then we found some trouble in reception. Poland played very well with a block defense. And the tie-break was more like in flip of coin, but the spirit to win was here.”

Stephane Antiga, head coach of Poland: “We failed to use some counter-attack. We did not play so well today, we were not so precise, we were not spiking with clear mind. I’m sad, the guys are sad, but we have a 3rd place to fight for.”

Recall that France defeated Poland after a tie-break and advanced to the final of the World League 2015.
