The Friedrichshafen, led by team captain Marcus Böhme’s, wrapped up the first half of the 1st Volleyball Bundesliga with a solid 25 points.
Despite Dachau’s resilience, especially in the first set where they prevented VfB from scoring any block points, Friedrichshafen’s consistent performance in the subsequent sets, marked by excellent serve, led them to a victory. The final set was particularly intense, ending with a thrilling 29-27 score.
VfB Friedrichshafen coach Mark Lebedew acknowledged the team’s performance, noting room for improvement. “We’re glad for the three points but acknowledge that our standard was not fully met today,” he stated.
