After spending two seasons in Azerbaijan, Lisa is going to play for Stuttgart. The board of the team decided to acquire her after serious knee injury of Hungarian-born receiver Renata Sandor. Moreover, the libero of Stuttgart Tamari Miyashiro is still trying to recover from a knee injury that she got in July…
“I was a full member of the team from the beginning on. They are very open-minded and very helpful. I am very happy with joining the ranks of Allianz MTV STUTTGART,” says Lisa Thomsen.
“I played for Azerrail BAKU first and then for Lokomotiv BAKU and those years in Azerbaijan stand as a great experience I was able to collect,” says Thomsen. “I am very happy to return to Baku, since in every team there are some players left that I know, and of course I can’t wait to meet with the coaching staff and the presidents again.”
