The eight-time winners of the Greek Women’s Volleyball Championship, Olympiacos S.F.P., announced the start of collaboration with the new head coach.
Italian Carlo Parisi assumed the command of Olympiacos, replacing Cuban Gil Ferrer Cutiño. For the 61-year-old expert, this will be the first engagement outside of his home country in four years. Parisi had most successes on a club level while being at the helm of Unet E-Work Busto Arsizio with which he won the ‘treble’ in Italy in 2012: Championship, Cup, and Super Cup, as well as CEV Cup twice (2010 and 2012). He was once named the best coach in Serie A1.
Last season, he was sitting on the bench of Vbc Trasporti Pesanti Casalmaggiore.
