The Sporting Director of Lube, Giuseppe Cormio, put a smile on the faces of the fans by announcing that one of the club’s backbones, the Cuban-born Juantorena, will stay for one more season.
“The negotiation has been finalized but due to the latest events, it hasn’t been concluded. Osmany is captain and part of the club, we are very bound to him for many reasons, not only sporting ones. Let’s say he’ll stay with us,“ Lube official stated for the club website.
Cormio added that Brazilian Bruno Rezende definitely leaves Lube but promised to sign a big name to replace him. The Sporting Director confirmed that rumors of hiring Cuban teenage outside hitter Marlon Yant (Chaumont, France) are true, while there are small chances that Serbian Dragan Stanković will return to the club and that Belgian Stijn D’Hulst will stay.
