The approval from the Cuban Federation has arrived: the young outside hitter Marlon Yant will wear the Lube jersey next season.
The player who has turned 19 on the day of signing the deal with the Italian side spent the last season on the courts of the French Championship, defending the colors of Chaumont. The transfer of Yant increased the Cuban “colony” at Lube: he will reunite with his national team teammate Robertlandy Simón and a duo of players that gained other sports nationalities, Osmany Juantorena and Yoandy Leal.
