ITA M: Altotevere San Giustino merged with Città di Castello

San Giustino issued a press release announcing the abandonment of the Serie A1. they modified the vision and merged with Città di Castello, fresh promoted in A1.

Presidents of San Giustino and Città di Castello

   

Altotevere Volley San Giustino (10th out of 12 clubs in Serie A1 last season) and Città di Castello Pallavolo think that they can have future together.

The two teams from Umbria, important protagonists in the last season of Serie A1 and A2, have already met to work on common interests of the team of Altotevere and to discuss the emergence of finding new parties prepared to support the volleyball in this part of Umbria.

Presidents of both clubs and new partners Aldo Nocentini and Joan Arveno have signed a memorandum of understanding and a platform for a collaboration aimed to develope and strengthen the volleyball activity of Altotevere.

Memorandum is also aimed to the fundamental development of the Serie A1 activities and of the youth sector.

The meeting will continue tomorrow to define the operational details of of their activities and the merge.
