“We consider Giuliani’s resignation an act of responsibility but we also believe 100% in our coach and want him to stay in Lube”, club’s board announced.”
After that players also sent an official announcement to the Italian media:
“We understand why our coach decided to resign immidiately after defeat in the Italian Cup semifinals. But on the other hand, we want everybody to know that everybody in the team are equally responsible for this season’s results. Athletes that we are have to deal with the bad results with confidence and hard work. We have full belief in our coach and that never changed. We have that one goal of winning the Italian Championship and we want to chase it with Alberto leading us.”
