Experienced setter revealed for sportpiacenza.it why he decided to return to volleyball after two years of retirement.
“Why I accepted the offer of Piacenza? Because Zlatanov was calling me every day (smile). He was so persistent that I finally had to say yes (smile). Jokes aside, Piacenza asked me if I can help them in this season, and I accepted. Despite I haven’t really played volleyball in the last two years, I have to figure out a way to help the team. I will be there to help out Tavares when needed” said Meoni.
