Political tensions between Russia and Turkey due to a shot down plane at Syrian-Turkish border, several days ago, already questioned men’s Champions League matches that are about to be held in Turkey on December 1 and December 2.
Since Russian Volleyball Federation requested CEV (European Volleyball Confederation) to determine neutral courts for those games scheduled to be played in Turkey, now some Russian female players are concerned about the European Qualifying Tournament for Rio Olympics which should be held in Ankara, in January.
Journalist from gazzetta.it informed that Italy has made an informal offer to bring the tournament there!
