On Wednesday, October 26, two powerful earthquakes in a row (magnitudes 5.5 and 6.1) struck central Italy about 80 kilometers north of the site of a deadly August quake (Amatrice, Rieti Province) that killed nearly 300 people.
Women’s Volleyball game of Italian low rank league (Serie D) between home team Futura Volley Trentino and Volley Angels Project Porto San Giorgio was held when the earthquake hit. It caused players of both teams to run towards exit door in panic. The game continued after 20 minutes of break. Futura Volley won 3-2.
