The United States also claimed its first victory, beating Canada 3-1 (25-18, 25-10, 23-25, 25-18). Justin Todd led the Americans with 17 points (9 attacks, 5 blocks, 3 aces), while Liam Pauls led Canada with 11. The U.S. held statistical leads in attacks (38-20), blocks (9-6), and serves (14-12).
After two days of play, Puerto Rico remains perfect, while the Dominican Republic and the United States earned crucial wins to stay in contention.
