The reigning champions Hisamitsu Springs have opened the Winners stage with a 3-0 win over Denso Airybees. Rika Namoto was the best scorer with 19 points, while Yuki Ishii contributed with 18 points.
Neriman Ozsoy was the most dominant player in a 3-1 win against Hitachi 21-25, 25-22, 25-19, 25-19. The Turkish player ended the game with 23 points.
The most interesting game was played between NEC Red Rockets and Toray Arrows. The home side had a 2-0 lead but after an amazing reaction of Toray, the game got a completely different outcome.
The Azerbaijani international Jana Kulan scored 35 points to lead Toray to a great comeback. It’s a very important win for Toray since they want to fight for the trophy.
