The final of the 2003 FIVB World League (now FIVB Volleyball Nations League) between Yugoslavia (now Serbia) and Brazil went down in volleyball history as unofficially the best ever match played in this sport. It was “a truly great contest between the sport’s poets Brazil and its warriors Yugoslavia“, as the website of the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) wrote at that time, having an incredible number of twists and turns and ending with a win of the South American side in the tie-break that had the most points in the history of the competition: 3-2 (25-19, 21-25, 19-25, 25-23, 31-29)!

Legendary opposite hitter Ivan Miljković played one of the most memorable matches in his career, finishing with 28 points but it was in vain…
