The four-time Swiss men’s volleyball champions, LINDAREN Volley Amriswil, succeeded in completing a valuable transfer – straight from the strongest national league in the world, SuperLega.
Even though there is still plenty of time for clubs around the world to complete their rosters before the new season starts, the multiple Swiss champions Amriswil did it already. They just filled the last vacant place in the roster – of the outside hitter. And their last newcomer in the off-season is a real blast. It is Luis Sosa, who came straight from the strongest national championship in the world – Italian SuperLega.
A 26-year-old Cuban spent the last two years in Itas Trentino, the current Champions League runners-up. After playing for several years in the top division of the league in his home country, Sosa was arrested in 2016 after the well-known raping scandal (along with four other teammates) during the FIVB World League and released from prison a year later.
