Tori Dixon, the U.S. Women’s Volleyball National Team member, not a regular one though, will take part in the second season of the pro league Athletes Unlimited in her home country.
Athletes Unlimited, the organizer of the women’s U.S. league which will enter its second season in 2022, announced that Dixon will be a part of it. The 29-year-old middle blocker is currently registered for Türk Hava Yolları but has never stepped on Turkish courts this season. Dixon was supposed to compete for Beijing in the Chinese Super League in 2021/22, as it was reported during the summer. The competition there will start in a few days, and her participation is not confirmed yet.
The Best Middle Blocker of the 2018 FIVB Volleyball Nations League was on the list of players for the inaugural edition of the Athletes Unlimited league, at the beginning of this year, but the injury prevented her from playing.
