Grupa Azoty Chemik Police defeated the visiting side BKS Stal Bielsko-Biała in the fourth round of the 2020/21 TAURON Liga regular season.
The beginning of the season was terrible for the titleholders as they lost both games they played. On the other hand, Bielsko-Biała had a perfect start – three matches and three wins. However, led in scoring by Agnieszka Kąkolewska (6 blocks) and Serbian Jovana Brakočević-Canzian (13 points apiece), Chemik were more than confident today: 3-0 (25-21, 25-20, 25-17).
Still, the first win of the home side in the league was upstaged by the knee injury of Cuban Wilma Salas in the first set. The outside hitter was taken off the pitch.
