The regular season winners Developres SkyRes Rzeszów prevailed over no.8 Energa MKS Kalisz in Game 1 of the 2020/21 Polish Women’s TAURON Liga playoff quarterfinals. It was 3-1 (23-25, 27-25, 25-20, 25-23) for the team coached by Stéphane Antiga. Thus, Developres came to a step from advancing to the semifinals given that the series is played up to 2 wins.
The Canadian international Kiera Van Ryk was outstanding on the winning side, tallying 35 points. Game 2 is scheduled for March 19.
